Statement of faith
The Gospel Church of Jesus Christ believes:
In one, true eternal God who has revealed Himself in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
That Christ is after souls and Christ is Lord. Therefore, GCJC is committed to bringing souls into the Kingdom of God.
In the sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world in great love and in His sovereignty as God.
4. The Supreme authority and finality of the divine inspiration of God’s word in the Old and New Testament Scriptures to be fully trustworthy for faith, justice and conduct.
5. The dignity of all people, made male and female in God's image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.
6. The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ — born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.
7. The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.
8. The justification of repented sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
9. The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, reconciles us to God through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.

10. The true church of our Lord Jesus Christ worldwide is empowered by the Spirit of God with the gifts of the Holy Spirit to worship God and proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God.
11. The ministry of the word, prayer, fasting, songs of praise and the Holy Communion as means of worship to God.
12. In the golden law of love – to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, souls and strengths and to love our neighbours as ourselves.
13. It’s better to give than to receive according to the scriptures
14. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to earth in form of a man, was crucified and shed his holy blood for our sins, died on the Cross for our redemption and on the third day, he arose into glory for our justification.
15. The coming of our Lord Jesus is at hand according to the scriptures and we must heed the warnings of His coming and prepare for the great tribulation
16. That our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to judge mankind of their deeds.
17. That the manifestation of the signs of the last days according to the scriptures had commenced and we are to prepare the remnants for the last days.
